Dear friend,

I am bringing out my site's news letter every month starting from the month of march in  the year 2010 . The news letter contains various features like site updates, recent pictures, articles that are brought out recently, my coming trips etc.

March was a very good month for my photography especially the last  couple of weeks. Last week, I got a chance to make 8 good pictures in a single trip, though that was the time when my annual exams started. Hence, I went only twice for photography and I was succeful. First of all, I dedicate all my pictures to my father who lent his camera and photogrqaphic gears for me to use them. Hence with his great help, I have taken all the photographs whatever you see till now.

Starting from the second week of march i.e the 7th, we had been to halagur lake, a beautiful lake situated abut 90 kms from where I stay. That day I had a chance to photograph the Barn Swallow, which is a quite rare bird that you can see it resting. Then, I photographed a couple of Blue-Tailed-Bee-Eaters, an Egyptian vulture, a Crested Lark and also a Little Ringed Plover. Then till 24th march, I was busy with my annual exams.

On 27th, We made a journey to the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and the Karanji Lake. That trip was very successful. That day, our group of seven members had went to the sanctuary as we had planned to organize a members' meeting with a famous digital expert. Hence we had taken him to Ranganathittu and Karanji Lake. We left our place around 4:30 am in the morning. We reached there around 7:00 am. We were the first people to reach there. We took a boat for the trip for two and a half hours. We photographed Asian Open Billed Stork, Painted Stork, Median Egret, Little Egret, Stone Curlew of The Great Thick Knee, The River Tern and we saw a couple of Marsh Crocodiles, White Ibis, Pied Wagtail,  Rosy Pelicans, White Throated Kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, Small Blue Kingfisher and the rare Stork Billed Kingfisher and also the Tickell's blue Flycatcher. All the pictures will be uploaded in my site soon(maybe within a week's time ) while some of them are already uploaded. At Karanji Lake, we did not take the boating but we were successful there with taking the photograph of an Oriental Magpie Robin both male and female. Some of my friends were busy taking the pictures of Danied Egg Fly, a butterfly. Unfortunately they missed the Oriental Magpie Robin.

In the next page you will see the pictures what I have made in the month of march. Also I have written about my site's updates and my upcoming trips.
